“Serbia and Kosovo: Intercultural
Icebreakers” is a program of the
Helsinki Committee for Human Rights
in Serbia, which is implemented in
cooperation with the Liberal
Democratic Party based in Pristine.
The program is realized with the
assistance from the European Union
Delegation in Serbia. Through this
cultural exchange program we'd love
to contribute to the renewal of
previously established relationships
and creating new communication
between youth, academics, artists'
groups, the media and civil society
from Belgrade and Pristine.
During these two exhibitions, 6
(six) days each, participants will
have the opportunity to display
their work and to discuss different
topics such as: culture of human
rights, interculturalism, conflict
resolutions through art and culture,
art as a tool for change in society,
culture as an resistance, etc.
a) The first exhibition (9-15, June)
will cover the fields of art such
as: Painting
Sculpture
Graphics
Design
b) The second exhibition (18-25,
June) will cover the fields of art
such as:
Conceptual Arts
Multimedia (photos, video,
performance, video, etc.)
All expenses, including stay, travel
and payment for performances are
covered by the organizers.
