„Danas“
journalists Miloš Miljković and Una
Miletić and journalists of the MREŽA
Production Group Boban Trajković and
Slaven Miljuš visited Priština as
part of the "Serbia and Kosovo:
Intercultural Icebreakers" program,
implemented by the Helsinki
Committee for Human Rights in Serbia
with the support of the Embassy of
the Federal Republic of Germany in
Belgrade.
Over the course of
three days, they visited various
institutions where they were
introduced to the contemporary
cultural scene of Kosovo. They
visited the Philharmonic and
discussed their plans and working
conditions. At the Academy of Arts,
they spoke with director and
professor Ismet Sijarin and attended
the exam of future directors.
During the tour,
they had the opportunity to meet
with journalists and discuss the
prospects for cooperation. As this
is the fifth year of the project
"Serbia and Kosovo:Intercultural
Icebreakers", they also met some of
the participants of previous
generations who are now recognized
artists or activists dealing with
reconciliation and intercultural
cooperation.
In the coming
period, journalists who have visited
Priština will write and make stories
about their experiences, which will
present the Kosovo cultural scene to
the citizens of Serbia in a
different light.
