The Helsinki Committee presented the analysis "Opinion
Poll Conducted among the Sandžak Youth: How Susceptible are the Youth to
Islamic Extremism" authored by Vladimir Ilić. Executive Director of the
Helsinki Committee Izabela Kisić spoke about the wider political and
social context in which different forms of extremism are developing in
Serbia. Author of the research prof. dr Vladimir Ilić presented the main
findings of the research, and sociologist Srđan Barišić talked about the
activities that the Helsinki Committee implemented with the youth in
Novi Pazar, Sjenica, Tutin and Prijepolje over the past four years.
The presentation was held at the Human Rights House.
